India Wins Over Japan At Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey Cup

From last few years, Indian hockey team improve their performance and defeat various hockey champions’ teams.

In the ongoing super event of hockey sultan Azlan shah cup, Indian teams amazing win over Japan helps Indian side to improve their rankings in the league table.

In Malaysia, Azlan shah hockey cup was held. The match between India and Japan, biggest rivals was played. In the first half of the match, India leads by 1-0 goal which was scored by Rupinderpal Singh on the penalty.

From Japan’s side, Heita Yoshihara scores a goal in the 43rd minute of the match. This gives a come back to Japan in the match.

With the help of two back to back goals Japan made a lead over Indian side. But at the end of the match, India’s consistent player Mandeep Singh scored three goals which give a chance to celebrations for the Indian side.

India’s hockey captain and goalkeeper Sreejesh’s injury makes him ruled out from the tournament. This will become a big deficit for Indian side during the upcoming matches.
